The Department of Strategic Planning and Quality Assurance is a structural subdivision of the university, the purpose of which is to organize the development, planning and implementation of the university Development program in accordance with the mission and goals of the university, quality system management.

Main tasks:
1. Development and updating of the Development program of the University in accordance with the main strategic documents of the Republic of Kazakhstan; 
2. Monitoring of indicators of the Development program of the NAO "Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University" for timely corrective actions to ensure the required results and planning activities to improve them;
3. Development and conduct of sociological research on the study of economic, cultural, spiritual, political, social, ethnic, innovative spheres of university life and presentation of results for managerial decision-making;
4. Coordination of the procedure for passing institutional accreditation and specialized accreditation of educational programs in national and international agencies;
5. Collection, analysis and provision of data for the university's participation in national and international rankings.

Main functions:
1. Development of a Development program for the NAO "Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University"; 
2. Analysis of the implementation of the goals, objectives and target indicators of the Development program of the University by all structural units;
3. Implementation of organizational work on preparation for the university's institutional accreditation and accreditation of educational programs; 
4. Control over the implementation by the structural units of the university of the recommendations of external experts of accreditation agencies (post-accreditation monitoring);
5. Organization of a system of events for the university's participation in national and international rankings; 
6. Organization and conduct of sociological research on topical issues of the life of the university, institutes, students.
